For over 47 years and
producing countless home
bred champions, Rose Koehl
worked very hard producing
some of the finest toy
poodles in the country. The
results, her breeding
spread to other breeders
throughout the world who
are in search of perfection,
ability, and great
dispositions. Selling
puppies in Australia, New
Zealand, China, Japan,
Canada, Mexico,
Switzerland,
Russia, and not to
mention all over the United
States, people are
continuously calling in
search of her top notch
puppies. |

As Rose’s
daughter, I
am honored
to have the
opportunity
to continue
her breeding
program for
our family.
She always
told me that
I would take
over her
empire one
day and I
just
laughed.
Well here I
am almost
four years
after her
sudden
passing
trying to
carry on her
legacy. I
have now
finished my
first home
bred
champion Ch.
Koehl’s
Burline
Dancer
(Jessie). I
have also
purchased
two
beautiful
males from
Connie
Halcom at
Rainbow.
One white
going back
to Ch.
Koehl’s
Legend In
Time and the
other red
going back
to Ch.
Koehl’s
Sudden
Impact. I
wanted to
stay within
the Koehl
lines but I
also knew I
needed an
outcross to
add to my
breeding
program.
Rainbow’s
Desired
Legend Of
Koehl’s
/Levi/
(White) is
currently
out with
Jill Cloud
and I look
for him to
finish very
quickly. He
is a
beautiful
little dog
with
tremendous
movement and
style.
Rainbow’s
Standing
Ovation
/Cooper/
(Red) will
start his
show career
when Levi
finishes.
He is a deep
dark red
with a
beautiful
coat, nice
jet black
pigment, and
beautiful
movement and
body to
boot. I
have some
wonderful
bitches that
are
producing
really nice
puppies and
by adding
these two
males to my
program, I
expect to
continue
producing
only the
best.
I have several
people in line
for show puppies
and I am working
diligently to
fill these
orders. I am
striving to
produce the best
and keep my
mother’s lines
going as long as
I can. I was at
a show not too
long ago and a
woman approached
me and asked if
I was any
relationship to
Rose. When I
introduced
myself as being
her daughter,
she proceeded to
tell me that the
two bitches that
won the majors
for the weekend
and finished
their
championship
were
granddaughters
of Koehl’s
Legend In Time.
It is nice to
know that the
Legend is
continuing. I
want to thank
everyone who has
been of great
help to me and
to Connie Halcom
at Rainbow for
trusting me with
her bloodlines.
For over fifty
years, Koehl's
Toy Poodles have
filled many
shoes, weather
it be breeders
looking to
improve on their
own bloodlines
or people
looking to fill
an empty spot in
their home with
a loving
companion. Koehl's Toy
Poodles have
been there time
and time again.
I know the Lord will
never give me a
mountain I cannot
climb. |
